About Betsey
Betsey’s personal and life coaching passions include assisting clients who are making difficult life transitions. She has taught courses in Creative Life Planning, and enjoys working with those who are making career changes, reinventing their career identification, planning for retirement, or struggling with issues of family and work balance. She is skilled and experienced in identifying and working with an individual’s personal strengths, and emphasizes a positive psychological approach in working with all clients.

A former community lawyer, and head of the Office of Legal Affairs at the Board of Regents, Betsey is adept at solving employment issues and advising in areas of leadership, education, and career development. She has been a long term advocate for alternative methods of conflict resolution and the development of conflict resolution systems within institutions. Betsey is also a proponent of collaborative solutions to family conflict and divorce, when appropriate.
A skilled presenter, she coaches clinicians personally, and in groups, about ethical issues, and about ways to be effective in presenting courtroom testimony and writing forensic reports.
Betsey’s special interests also include issues in child adoption, qualifying for Social Security disability payments, and support to families struggling with the mental illness or disability of a loved one.
